Systems Electronics Inc. installs and services Life Safety systems to the Healthcare, K-12 and Corporate markets in North Carolina and Virginia. We provide services to some of the most prestigious facilities in the area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Low Voltage Installer/Technician will have the responsibility of providing timely quality customer service to customers within a specified territory. In the Technician role you will provide technical service and installation to new and existing systems. Candidate will be responsible for overseeing jobs and this role may have the responsibility of leading several projects from beginning to end.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a related business with a proven successful record of accomplishment that is verifiable is preferred.
  2. Superior skills in cable installation and cable management are preferred.
  3. Attention to detail and excellent workmanship are required.
  4. Computer experience with the ability to easily navigate Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office and the ability to program and configure database driven systems is a plus.
  5. Any Microsoft certifications would be a plus.
  6. Experience or equivalent knowledge of Nurse Call Systems is a plus. Potential candidates with knowledge of Rauland Nurse Call systems are encouraged to apply.
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player.
  9. Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, well-organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
  10. Exceptional customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
  11. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  12. Have excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups.
  13. Must be able to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills, which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
  14. Be able to work overtime as required.
  15. Must have valid driver license.
  16. Some travel required.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.
  2. Some light lifting of objects is required.
  3. Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also required.
  4. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  5. Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
